Dear Fellow Star Gazers

Happy Super Full Moon

Lunar or Full Moon madness is a real thing. Can markets continue to climb ignoring political mayhem and social distress? October has seen market dramas in the past (1929 and 1987 for example). This October with another planetary full moon phase developing,a crisis seems pending.

Markets tend to rise into the opposition phase of the Mars-Uranus cycle and crash soon after. Since that aspect becomes exact just before the November Full Moon, and within days of Uranus returning to Taurus for a few months, it would not be so surprising if a correction occurred in the next few weeks - bringing with it buying opportunities in some sectors. This potential will be explored in the monthly October class and the Crypto event (links below).

EQUITIES

Pluto arrives at its direct station within hours of the Last Quarter Moon (October 13^th) and as Venus arrives in Libra (14^th).  The Dow Jones index often turns down at this ingress and, if it does, may be a pre-warning of drama at next month’s Full Moon. I expect marked volatility – especially in US markets – between October 11 and 14.

CRYPTOS

As was expected following the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in 2019 and Pluto’s Aquarius ingress in 2024, momentum in the drive toward alternative currencies has been building. Timing is everything and prior to the conclusion of the present Saturn-Uranus cycle in 2031, we should expect a switch-back ride in this sector.

Should you invest in them? Can you avoid investing in them (your pension funds may already be there). You certainly should not ignore the effect that these are having in our financial world.

A marked reversal in trend for cryptos is probable when Uranus returns to Taurus just after next month’s Full Moon. In October both 14^th and 29^th could see significant activity. Those looking to profit from earlier purchase could add these dates to their technical analysis and consider capitalising on gains.

GOLD AND PRECIOUS METALS

Digital currencies are, by their very nature, vulnerable to attack driven by hackers or by government decree or by forces beyond human control (satellites knocked out by solar fare). Gold and other metals may be stolen or appropriated by government agencies, yet they can also be squirreled away: their value rising when it appears that other savings are compromised.

It was anticipated that the price of gold would rise as Mars moved through geocentric Scorpio – as it has. For different (heliocentric) reasons, we should expect further increases this quarter.

Silver is already enjoying a good year and cosmic rhythms suggest that there are further rises to come.

GLOBAL AFFAIRS

I don’t want to focus solely on the northern hemisphere and will also look at developments in South America.

It is no astrological surprise that Argentina experienced a financial crisis last month as the lunar node reached its Chiron whilst Pluto was 90 degrees from its Jupiter placement. There are close links between the chart of the USA and Argentina but these could be under stress next year when political shifts in both countries test financial limits.

This Full Moon marks the second anniversary of the horrendous attacks by Hamas at the music festival in Israel. There is hope of a deal that would see the end to the war in Gaza. Emotions though could run super high at this Aries Full Moon and, with Mercury moving into Scorpio, levels of distrust may be such that lasting peace is still some time away.

2026

At the opening of Oner Doser’s Astrology School on beautiful Burgaz Island this weekend, I spoke about the various financial challenges indicated by cosmic patterns in 2026. Of these, the ‘gambler’s curse’ aspect between Jupiter and Pluto stood out as a marker for social, economic and political development that will surely shake markets world-wide. 

We discussed the need for ‘financial umbrellas’ (insurance) whilst also exploring the sectors likely to see growth. The bottom line is that the first half of the year is good for ‘fixing the roof’ and consolidating assets whilst the second half is more suited to investment in ‘pleasure and leisure’. All this will covered in more detail in the monthly classes.

MICHAEL, MOVING ON AND THE SIX MODULE FINANCIAL COURSE

Michael never doubted by ability to produce an astro-finance course and in his last days I promised that I would get it done. Understandably (perhaps) it was hard to get down to it as the waves of intense grief engulfed me following his passing at the 2023 October eclipse. 

The six modules (videos with transcripts) have been carefully curated and I know he would be pleased that it is now available just a month ahead of the second anniversary.
