Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon and Happy Lunar Eclipse!
In Moscow, Uranus (stationary) and Sedna appear at the ascendant of the chart for this event. This rare conjunction, unseen in over 10,000 years in this sector of the zodiac, seems set to coincide with
major global events – and perhaps already has - since overnight a Russian missile struck offices in central Kiev for the first time since the war began.
President Putin has drawn considerable attention in recent weeks. The red carpet was laid out in Anchorage and then he was given warm welcome in Beijing: totally in keeping with his Progressed Sun on the Galactic Centre. He has been the cosmic star of the show.
Eclipses are moments of cosmic drama and there is likely to be plenty of political theatre and intrigue still to come. We are witnessing the early stages here in the UK, with the resignation of the Deputy prime Minister and a new cabinet set to meet early this week.
The solar eclipse on September 21st closely aligns with the World Axis, while Saturn and
Neptune are positioned opposite in the zodiac. This configuration suggests a significant shift in global leadership or order. It has been 61.8 years (think Fibonacci) since the pivotal event of J.F. Kennedy's assassination. The coming weeks might also bring impactful changes affecting political and economic systems, - though this does not imply another assassination.
Eclipses mark both endings and beginnings. None of us
are immune to the altered geomagnetic field and over the next two weeks many of us will break free of old ties and form new connections. It might help to think back to a similar series in September 2006. Just remember that the cosmos is not a Broadway show and doesn’t do exact repeats.
USA
Whole conferences could be given over to discussing
which chart should be used for the USA. There are several for July 4th, 1776. The highly respected astrologer Robert Hand used July 2nd of that year. Whichever chart is used, Saturn will be at or very near 14 Libra: a degree that will be opposed by Saturn’s station in 2026 as Uranus begins its return to the position it held in 1776.
These facts, together with a Neptune’s return and the legacy of Pluto’s recent return to its natal place
suggest significant shifts in needs and desires.
In my first book ‘The Financial Universe’ (published in 2004), I opined a pending collapse of the USA. It seems that this development is now on track and could be realised in the next two years. On Thursday I will give a free lecture for NCGR International, where I will offer other forecasts for the next six years (see link below). Amongst the many charts to be reviewed are the charts of China, the USA, Treaty of
Rome (for Europe) and the invasion of Ukraine.
Although I will mention the development of digital currencies, in response to demand, I am offering a special crypto event in November (link below).
EQUITIES
Every stock market index has its own characteristic and responds to planetary influence in its own way.
If there is common thread, it’s that few indices do well when both the Sun and Moon are in Mutable signs. At both this month’s eclipses, the accent is on Mutable Virgo and Pisces while Uranus moves through Mutable Gemini and Saturn through Pisces. Until Sept 17th, Mercury is in Virgo and from 19th, Venus moves into that sign. All told this is not a hopeful picture: perhaps especially on Monday 15th when the Moon reaches maximum declination. Although the
Moon will be in its own sign of Cancer, over-reaction – to the downside? - is more likely than not.
PRECIOUS METALS
I anticipated that Mars’ move into geocentric Virgo mid-June would bring a fall in value - as it did. If history repeats, all metals should fare better with that planet’s move into Scorpio a day after the solar eclipse (Sept
21st). Since 1990, the gold index has risen as Mars moved through this area. The silver index responds similarly and a rise in this price is also to be expected.
INVESTMENTS
Those of you who have been attending my monthly classes know of my interest in companies providing engineering for space and ocean exploration. I am grateful to
those who have alerted me to businesses operating in these areas and will look at the charts for two of these companies in the next event on September 27th.
By the way, did you know that 535 satellites were decommissioned within just 6 months? This was a major de-orbiting exercise and put several thousand kilograms of aluminium oxide into the upper atmosphere. Related pollution isn’t supposed to filter to our
breathable air but, with Pluto moving through Aquarius we should be concerned about this exercise contributing to air pollution. Poor air quality is considered to be a significant threat to global health. I want to research companies that specialize in carbon capture and other related technologies and welcome any ideas as to which companies I should focus on.
Positively, the planetary configuration involving a triangle
between Uranus and Pluto with Saturn and Neptune on their midpoint is a promising cosmic configuration for creative scientific and artistic breakthroughs.
