Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon!
And a huge thank you for the August 24th monthly class content. Reading and researching new areas has been stimulating. Adding to the usual contents for the class, I will focus on the impact of the September eclipses on global indices -
particularly on the NASDAQ.
To meet requests, I will also take a quick look at Bitcoin and Ethereum but also cover NVDIA , Tesla, VXX and space exploration as well as the usual world situation. (link below to book).
With Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune all crossing the World Axis recently and a solar eclipse on a 'financially notable degree' back in March, the cosmic
weather has been challenging to say the least.
The storms aren't over:
Think kites! It some parts of the world, this is a sport and winners are feted. The planetary geometry at today's Full Moon has the appearance of a kite: Mars opposes both Saturn and Neptune forming the backbone of the kite whilst Uranus and Sedna are at one arm and Pluto at the other.
As the kite began to from, an Instagram announcement of the intention to come together in an act of passive resistance to the proposed direction of the present US administration. This is one form of kite-flying (floating an idea) and yes, the impact could be considerable if not enough to blow this administration off course.
This kite is the first of a few to fly in the
next few months. By the time that Saturn and Neptune conjoin heliocentrically in December, it should be clear that embracing new Air currents is essential.
Even if the planets don't align exactly with anything in your chart, you could choose to tune into this cosmic message and make progress in flying an ideas kite of your own!
But yes, with
Mars at the sharp end of this kite today - and within a degree of the world axis, extra-ordinary action seems likely. Perhaps Presidents Putin and Trump will meet, perhaps Israel will indeed take over Gaza or Taiwan invade China or, or, or......the possibilities are endless: any one of which suggests recalibration of the world order.
Nor can I rule out a major natural event. The recent 8.8 magnitude earthquake thankfully
didn't result in major loss of life, but the Earth's core is always on the move and the lunar position important in determining timing of upheaval on its surface. The Moon reaches the apex of the kite on Tuesday 12th which could be a trigger factor.
Yet the combination of the two benefics, Venus and Jupiter on that same day suggests celebration. Their conjunction at 13 Cancer, aligns with the USA's natal Sun position and with the
Fixed Star, Sirius. It seems likely that news from the USA will be headline across the world. And yes, with Jupiter such a powerful player, legalities - including the US Constitution - will surely be centre-stage.
BITCOIN AND CRYPTOS
Bitcoin, which was launched when Saturn-Uranus were in their opposition phase, responds to
other aspects in this cycle. The two planets reach 60 degree phase also on August 12th -a day after Mercury stations. Recalling that Saturn and Neptune will be 90 degrees from Bitcoin's natal position, I am doubtful that Bitcoin will soar until after this aspect is in the past (in 2026) and for next week am focused on two levels sensitive astro-levels $118k and $108K. I am still working through revised chart data for Bitcoin and if either of these figures is reached on Tuesday 12th, I will be
more confident about future forecasts.
GOLD AND SILVER
Given the extraordinary cosmic weather, the price of both gold and silver is likely to increase from Tuesday 12th. We will look at this more closely in the August 20th monthly event.
HOLIDAY READING AND
SPACE
I have been rivetted by a superb book 'Every Breath You Take' a magnificent work about air quality by Mark Broomfield that makes clear the effect of Air pollution (yes, how Pluto in Aquarius).
Then, a few days ago, space weather reported that SpaceX had conducted a giant uncontrolled experiment in atmospheric chemistry.
Between December 2024 and July 2025, more than 525 Starlinks were de-orbited. These were mostly first-generation satellites, deliberately retired to make room for newer models. SpaceX plans to launch up to 50 new Starlinks per week, maintaining a fleet of 8,000 satellites.
Apparently the fiery re-entry of each satellite produces about 30 kilograms of aluminum oxide vapour, a compound that erodes the ozone layer.
The deorbiting of so many satellites and in just six months, added an estimated 15,000 kilograms of aluminium oxide to the upper atmosphere.
This surely is not good news.
Space X's action alongside plans to build a nuclear reactor on the Moon should be considered alongside the chart for the International Space Treaty. I will explore this in the August
monthly event too.
MOVING ON
Michael would be - and likely is - delighted that I am keeping busy. As you can imagine, the bouts of grief can be unbearable. I have been holidaying in France with our grandchildren - constant reminders that life goes on. How proud he must be of all of them and their journeys of self-discovery. Our grand-daughter is following
Michael's path and is to study Music at University, the middle one has excelled in recent concerts, and the youngest is showing avid interest in astronomy and reading astro-charts as well as asking for drum lessons! And so life moves on.

Pricing Update for Monthly Astro Finance Classes
After careful consideration, there will be a small price adjustment to my monthly Astro Finance
classes starting from January 2026. The new pricing structure will be:
1 class – £45.00
3 classes – £125.00
6 classes – £240.00
The current prices (respectively 40,120 and 220 GBP) will remain in place until the end of 2025. If you'd like to take advantage of these, now is a great time to book ahead.
