Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon! This is the pink Moon - and this time in a Micro Moon as the Moon is furthest from Earth.
The fact that the Moon is so far away doesn't diminish its impact. Indeed, as the global news
makes clear emotions are running super high.
The retrograde ‘hurricane’ that began at the end of 2024 is almost at an end: ‘almost’ in that although Venus turns direct just 40 mins after the Full Moon, that planet won’t reach the degree at which it retrograded until just after the May 12th Full Moon. Venus is the last of the three (Mercury, Venus and Mars) to return to its retrograde degree. Mercury completes
its loop on Sunday April 26th and Mars a week later.
Mars returns to 6 Leo – a degree highlighted at Pearl Harbour and when there have been noteworthy US Navy incidents. No-one wants to think negatively but there seems to be increasing prospect of dispute escalating to war..
Today’s Full Moon aligned with Chiron brought the expected
correction in the markets. Although we should now be through the eye of this storm, the damage has yet to be assessed and no, things aren’t going to return to ‘normal’ any time soon – although indices should recover temporarily.
I anticipate further turbulence in June as Jupiter and Saturn form a 90° aspect just as Mars and Uranus do the same. That these events neatly coincide with the present 90 day tariff deadline
declared by President Trump, does not augur well for smooth running trade with the banking industry and foreign exchange as affected as companies.
I will be going into all this in depth in the Monthly Astro-Finance event on April 27th (content given below. Use link to register).
LOOKING FURTHER
AHEAD
Much is being written about the pending Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0 Aries which becomes geocentrically exact in February 2026 and which may be an indicator of another pandemic. The virus might already be with us but has not yet gained full attention. It is frankly terrifying to think that ‘old’ diseases (e.g. measles) could yet run rampant.
On a positive note, rather less is being said of the awesome planetary configuration (a kite) that becomes exact in August and which should mark the start of something big and new – at political, economic, social and personal levels. (The Euro was 'born' under one of these configurations).
If you haven’t yet looked at your chart for this period, I suggest that you do so and consider which of
your own ideas you might like to see take flight. There is no such thing as a risk-free world but with preparation, your kite could yet soar. I am amused to see that I have been asked to speak (via Zoom) for the Western Australian astrological society that weekend and that already I am planning to do something a little different to my usual repertoire!
Although many people are pinning the present chaos in part due to
Neptune’s Geocentric Aries ingress, it is worth noting that the full effect of this won’t be felt until Neptune makes Heliocentric entry in late May.
That ingress coincides with Saturn’s geocentric Aries ingress suggesting that the last few days of May will coincide with considerable disquiet across world markets – presumably due to the approaching tariff deadline.
History rarely repeats exactly but the last time that Neptune
entered Aries there was a financial panic in the USA - which may or may not have been a factor in the Civil War that followed.
Perhaps it’s time to look beyond Earth’s orbit and consider another perspective:
Spaceweather.com recently offered this alert: that the odds that an asteroid striking the Moon have more than doubled, to a 3.8% chance
of a Moon strike. Although we can’t know where on the Moon this would strike – or if this event could be seen from Earth apparently we do know the exact date: December 22, 2032.
This is a super interesting date: just after the winter solstice (always an important time) and just as the new Saturn-Uranus cycle begins. This promises the next stage in global investing adventures (including the next stage in crypto
developments).
Many of you will know that I have a fascination with companies investing in space. The horoscope for the International Space Treaty is not in good shape and a review is overdue. My understanding was that we all ‘owned’ the Moon and that no single country could claim it. China has set up a space station on the other side of the Moon. We can’t see that, but I wonder if they have staked a national claim to
their research facility? If an asteroid does strike, might it wipe this out?
CRYPTO
The world of crypto continues to evolve. The starting point is long before the most recent opposition of Saturn and Uranus (when Bitcoin launched), but can be linked to the cycle of those two planets whose last conjunction
aligned with the Galactic centre. These two planets are a sixth of a cycle apart: an aspect that occurs three times geocentrically. The last of these aspects is in January 2026 by which time I hope that many will have recovered recent losses.
I can’t cover all cryptos in the April monthly event but will look at XRP, Solana and Ethereum – alongside Bitcoin (of course). We are planning a crypto only event for July.
FLORIDA, WRITING AND SOLAR PLANS
I extended my trip to Florida where I stayed with my publisher and worked on the new book. The Sun quite literally got under my skin and I suffered an allergic reaction to UV rays! I am hopeful that this will be under control before June when the wonderful astrologer and highly
respected teacher, Oner Doser, and I will be researching solar activity together.
As many of you know, Michael and I enjoyed many international travels during his illustrious career, and it was a struggle not to have these to plan during his illness. I am sure that he is nearby, delighting in and sharing these new adventures!
Looking
forward to meeting each of you when the cosmos decrees.
For now,
Yours from the stars
Christeen
