Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon!
Get ready for another wild week.........
With Uranus at right angle to both the Sun and Moon we should expect
near unthinkable shocks and surprises. Reactions are likely to be extreme with law and order under threat across the world.
Of course astrologers anticipated that we would need to navigate an unfamiliar landscape. Many may feel powerless. Yet painful upheaval is unavoidable and the generations who have gone before witnessed distressing times too. Yet we are here – so life does go on.
Pressure on the Earth’s crust – not dissimilar to that which brough the Boxing Day Tsunami in the South East Asia could bring violent upheaval and need for disaster relief. In recent days research as shown the Earth’s core to have altered shape. Its magnetic pull is affecting much of the Middle East with Iraq in particular being pulled downward. Whilst the island of Santorini is already affected by seismic moves, this may not be the only area to
experience fragmentation at this full moon. Astrocartography analysis draws attention to Iraq (as mentioned above) but also to California. In the last few days that area has experienced shock waves – more could follow.
CRISIS
This the first Full Moon since President Trump’s inauguration - though you could
be forgiven for thinking that every day since then has brought the kind of extreme outburst often associated with this stage of the lunar cycle.
Let’s not forget that the distribution of the planets on January 20th did not just affect the USA. If your chart contains planets at 18-19 degrees of any sign, then you’re likely to have felt intense pressure and found yourself at odds with different agencies (internal trade wars!). Pleasing others may have
felt well-nigh impossible and super-challenging to maintain equilibrium.
At the inauguration, the Moon and Mercury were positioned at two corners of an apparent square. The Moon, moving quickly, broke away within hours whilst Mercury hovered a little longer leaving Mars and Chiron to echo the tension of that day. Their actual positions in the zodiac are concerning:
Chiron hovers at 19 Aries – a critical financial degree. Mars
has yet to cross 19 Cancer (another critical degree) mid March. The aspect between these two – coupled with (and as mentioned last month) Neptune and the Node aligned in Pisces – suggests financial panic.
The March Full Moon is a lunar eclipse and research shows that it is not uncommon for indices to fall in the weeks falling such an event. That eclipse highlights 23 Pisces/Virgo, with Saturn close to that degree, and at
right angle to the Full Moon in President Trump’s chart. Might the cosmos say ‘no’? Might legal woes thwart recent orders? We should also note that this eclipse highlights key areas in the charts of many tech giants. They too may need to confront an increasing number of legal challenges.
I find it useful to imagine the planets as playing music: their positions tell me their tenor, pitch and audibility. Retrograde Mars in
Cancer suggests cellos playing deep and mournful melodies reminiscent of times past. When Mars reaches its direct station on Feb 24th, those sounds – still deep and resonant - should alter tempo and become more of a march and yes, the distinct drums of war already almost audible, become a crescendo.
The outlook does not look promising. Yet these are the very times when opportunities often appear. There are many
rags to riches stories of people who’ve gone from adversity to triumph sealing that with philanthropic missions.
CRYPTOS
These are now a regular feature in the monthly class with HBAR due to be given most attention on Feb 23rd (you can book this by contacting juliecityscopes@gmail.com).
Whilst cryptos cannot be immune to market turbulence, most should benefit from an easing of restrictions in early April as Saturn and Uranus reach the next stage in their cycle. (More detail in the Feb event).
GOLD AND SILVER
As Uranus stationed and turned direct at the end of January the gold
index broke through $2800. That trend should continue.
Silver too has made gains though it is probable that it will be later this year before it exceeds recent all time highs.

NEWS
Before leaving London for my Florida adventure I had lunch with Mathew Verdouw of Optuma software (www.optuma.com). Mathew’s encouragement has been invaluable and help from Darren Hawkins on his team has enabled fine tuning to my six-module financial course. Re-recording with extra material and back testing is underway.
FLORIDA
For now, immediate focus is on the February event and seeing clients here in Florida. I am sure that Michael is delighted with overall progress though perhaps dismayed that the legal challenge concerning his nursing care continues. My Sagittarius Moon is tempted to make this a crusade. With this Full Moon it could yet become a political battle! I will resist this - if I can - and instead focus on developing the Youtube channel offering
astro-insights.
