Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon!
Whilst grief is an unwelcome companion, work – and specifically preparation of the financial course – is a happy distraction.
The Introduction to
Financial Astrology $99 is available for purchase from this Friday (after Mercury turns direct!). You can order today (by emailing christeen@financialuniverse.co.uk) but expect delivery on Friday. The six session financial course will be available from that magical Venus star point (which seems apt and definitely a date chosen by the cosmos). Those of you who have shown interest will be mailed separately (again after Mercury is direct.)
GOLD
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the gold index soared in these uncertain times -but price fell markedly yesterday: a trend that could still reverse on April 29th. Another key turning point may be the Last Quarter Moon on May 1st.
This week’s Full Moon is in Scorpio – a sign associated with financial matters. Yes, that
happens every year, but in 2024, this will be the first Full Moon in over two centuries where Pluto is positioned close to the half-way point between Sun and Moon.
To find a similar Sun in Taurus-Pluto in Aquarius-Moon in Scorpio picture we have to go back to April 23rd 1777 and the American Revolutionary War when the counterfeiting of money was used a weapon of war. Might we see a repeat?
Certainly, a shake-up in the US banking system may be stealthily (Scorpio) underway. And yes, the digital dollar fits my reading of the cosmic agenda.
SILVER
An interesting period for silver should be May 11th- 13th. It is more than a little
interesting that the silver price ahs risen since the recent Sun-Saturn conjunction in Pisces. The degree involved seems to be one of the 4 sensitive degrees for silver.
The price has been low for many years – indeed throughout Neptune’s journey through Pisces. That situation will surely change when Neptune moves on into Aries in 2025.
HONG KONG AND BITCOIN etc
Hong Kong was considered one of the world Crypto Capitals. It is perhaps unsurprising that as Jupiter moved to conjoin Uranus (surprise events), its regulator approved ETFs for both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin is banned in mainland China, but this approval may pave the way for the companies concerned to eventually trade on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This news sent me back to the chart for the Hang
Seng index.
This exchange came into being on an almost exact Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in 1914. So, this crypto-ETF development, close to the 2024 alignment is in keeping with that cosmic signature.
That said, this exchange does not fare well as Saturn moves through a Mutable sign (as now). It is unlikely that there will be much improvement
until 2026.
As for Bitcoin: many have conjectured that the price will reach over $100K – and astrologically that seems entirely possible but unlikely to occur before November 2025. Astrology suggests that there are still various regulatory hurdles to be overcome.
EQUITIES
A string of cosmic events indicated difficulties this quarter. Two years ago, when preparing my Llewellyn analysis of 2024, I wrote that I expected large scale moves to the downside at this April Full Moon and suggested that the news stories abounding at the next Full Moon (May 23rd) would centre on large scale fraud – most likely centring on the banking centre.
As we know, equities began their downturn between the two recent eclipses and as
Mercury turned retrograde. With the exception of a bounce at the start of this week (linked to the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction), that downward trend might yet continue, and be marked over the first weekend in May when Mercury crosses the eclipse degree. Just how weak certain sectors have become should then be apparent.
On the bright side, sectors set to move upward should be newsworthy mid-May. These include anything to do
with space exploration which has become one of my key interests. I will be exploring the charts of companies operating in this sector in the next monthly event (May 19th).
Please note that the monthly events are quite separate to the six-session financial course.
OIL
In response to a timely request for me to review oil prices I went back to the chart for Pluto’s entry into Taurus in the 19th century. This ingress took place a few years before the first barrel of oil was drawn but seems to represent a moment when humans began their quest for this liquid gold. The results of my research were interesting. We are now in the last phase of that cycle suggesting that oil will not be the dominant energy source from
2035.
Few are interested in the long-term view and in the next monthly event I will show various planet cycles that can be used for short term trading.
FINANCIAL COURSE
As outlined above, the cosmos seems to be directing me to hold the first of the six-week course events at the start of June. If you are not
sure if this course is for you, then you can try my Introduction to Financial Astrology $99
The next monthly event will be held on Sunday May 19th. £40
I refuse to blame a retrograde Mercury (but perhaps I should). Paypal is not working on the website presently. To make purchases, for the moment please email christeen@financialuniverse.co.uk and I will send details.
Until next time,
Wishing you all healthy and safe
Yours from the stars
