Dear Fellow Stargazers,

Recognising today’s Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse.

LUNAR ECLIPSE

At today’s lunar eclipse, Mars is at 11 Scorpio and Jupiter opposes at 11 Taurus: the combination of Mars and Jupiter is often indicative of military action or call to arms. Until Saturn stations at the Last Quarter Moon on November 5^th, and with the Node accentuating a degree often highlighted when the US Navy is prominently active, sadly the drums of war seem set to beat increasingly loudly.

Yet astrologers accept that there are decodable cycles and know that ‘bad times’ come to an end. 

WARS: TERRESTIAL AND UNIVERSAL

The threat of global war is always on the horizon, and arguably became more acute as dwarf planet Haumea and Pluto moved into their Last Quarter phase. 

The Middle East atrocities of October 7^th took place as Venus and Mars moved to contra-parallel aspect. (The Ukraine war began at their conjunction phase). Of course, there is more, and the chart for the Solar Eclipse of October 14^th is worthy of greater study – as is that of today’s Lunar Eclipse and links with so many of the charts of countries in the Middle East and beyond.

The bottom line though is ‘where will it all end?’

Haumea and Pluto won’t conclude their Last Quarter phase for some years and the presently war-torn regions are likely to stay that way unless radical transformation occurs. (There is hope with the upcoming trine between Uranus and Pluto in 2026).

UNITED NATIONS

The anniversary of the inauguration of the UN came just a few days ago (Oct 24^th) as Pluto moved to right angle with its solar position.  Simultaneously, Haumea approached this degree. There will surely soon be demands for a new and reinvigorated organisation. The process for the emergence of this re-born institution is likely already underway against the clamour for action to halt hostilities in so many parts of the world. Demand for a revision of its present work and obligations should be heard loudly across the world by the First Quarter Moon on November 20^th.

STAR-WARS

 The threat is a reality and, as yet, there are no viable legally binding contracts in place. Indeed, there is no agreement as to where space begins. Is it 80KM from sea level (NASA's definition) or 100KM (the Swiss based Federation Aeronautique International definition)? If a satellite belonging to one country crashes into that of another - deliberate or otherwise – who takes responsibility?

You would be forgiven for thinking that none of this affects you personally: yet we need a coherent body that works to protect life against existential threats. A revamped – and relocated - UN may be the place to start.

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS

From the heliocentric perspective (where no planet is ever retrograde), Pluto moves into Aquarius on January 22nd, 2024. We have known for some time that we were entering a new ‘industrial revolution’ that would see artificial intelligence, robot and space engineering bring the collapse of some industries as new sectors open. These are now ripe for investment.

We know that there are optimum dates for an IPO launch. Whilst the next key date is December 8th and January 23^rd – so very close to Pluto’s heliocentric ingress and strengthening the potential for wealth creation.

EQUITIES

The quite brilliant financial astrologer Arch Crawford was the first to recognise a crash cycle. i.e. indices appeared to move upward into a Mars-Uranus opposition and fall soon after. The degree of depth of that fall depends on the whole planetary picture.

What is special about the forthcoming opposition – heliocentrically exact on November 9^th and geocentrically on Saturday November 11^th, is that the aspect occurs across the Scorpio/Taurus axis. These signs are part of the zodiac’s financial axis. It is noteworthy too that the Moon will be moving from North to South latitude and declination over those two days. In short, the vibration will be moving from intense excitement to fear – prompting indices to fall. I am doubtful of recovery until at least November 24^th.

NEW CHAPTER

Many of you will know that Michael died just two weeks ago - a day after the solar eclipse and as the lunar nodes reached his Saturn. It was absolutely his special moment. Your many words of condolence mean a great deal and helped me function in recent days as I began the next stage of my life journey.

 In keeping with Saturn transits affecting our charts, the celebration of his life (as a Sagittarius he was clear that he did not want a funeral but rather a going away party), is delayed and given administrative hurdles, will not take place until Saturn is direct i.e. sometime after November 4^th.

I am in a state of limbo…….. but trying not to be. Though I was prepared for this on so many levels, the physical effect has taken me by surprise. The crypto newsletter is on hold for the moment as are the planned classes and astro-finance course as my exhaustion eases. I am hopeful that I will be back at work by the New Moon on November 13^th.
