Dear Fellow Stargazers,

Happy Full, Cold Moon!

By the next Full Moon, Pluto will have made full and final move into Aquarius with the Sun and Pluto conjoining (Jan 20^th), in that sign for the first time in over two centuries. That this aspect is also the anniversary of many US presidential elections suggests that the US 2024 election will prove historically remarkable – possibly with a short lived presidency (see below).

Whereas 1776-1806 (the last time Pluto moved through Aquarius) coincided with the French, American and Industrial Revolutions - not to mention major events in Asia, - the 2024 ingress will surely usher in twenty years of equal drama. For now, we are thinking Artificial Intelligence and Robotic revolution and developments – especially in crypto currencies and space age technology that shake our known world.

I suspended the Astro crypto newsletter whilst I readjusted my life following my husband’s passing. I had always intended to offer an Astro crypto event as part of the monthly series. SOLAR ACTIVITY

You may have read on www.spaceweather.com and other sites that a massive hole in the Sun was identified on December 2^nd, just as Sedna ( a planet orbiting beyond Pluto) entered Gemini. The symbiotic relationship between the planets and the Sun should not be under-estimated. As we know, all the known planets – including Earth - are affected by solar activity. There have been times in the past when a solar cycle became syncopated – disrupting usual rhythms. It seems likely that we are now headed toward a solar minimum with terrestrial temperatures dropping rather than rising. 

This hole in the heart of the Sun aptly describes the pain most of us feel when assessing present day world events. It will surely take, a long, long time for wounds to heal.

UNITED NATIONS

This Full Moon coincides with aspects suggesting longing for reconciliation and for peace. In a previous missive I explained that my reading of the chart for the United Nations was that it would require reformation sooner rather than later. Expect to hear demands for the reconstruction of the UN to grow in volume.

If we have indeed entered a solar minimum, it is projected that it could last up to 40 years with profound consequences for natural patterns and for human behaviour.

2024 ELECTIONS

Financial astrology has to go hand-in-hand with mundane or world astrology. In 2024, no fewer than 50 countries will go to the polls. These are important in each of the nations concerned, but global eyes will surely be given to the decisions taken in the USA and India. The USA goes to the polls in November, a few days before Pluto makes its final and complete geocentric Aquarius ingress and just a few days after Mars opposes Pluto. Every election is fiercely fought, but this one may be overshadowed by legal challenge and threats to divide that extra-ordinary union of states. Within the US next presidential cycle, planetary conditions suggest growing divide. Hopefully this will stop short of civil war.

A key to knowing who might win the US election comes from overview of the conditions at the presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025. The chart for this event contains two main themes. The first is about protection, security and border defence. The second theme is about investing in space – presumably in the hope that resources found in the heavens will benefit mankind. However, it may be that all this is simply ‘hot air’ and unachievable.

Fact is that within this chart there are three major aspects with an orb of 1 degree exactitude: the most important of which is that between the Sun (the national leader) and Pluto (renewal). It may be that within a year, the leader is usurped, overthrown or undermined.

 PROPERTY CYCLE

The UK newspapers are suggesting that house prices will fall in 2024 as rents rise. If history repeats, then it is probable that we are crash is on the horizon. My reading of the situation is that collapse in house prices will not come until 2025 with a cyclical low reached 2027/8. Indeed, it is likely that the price of land will be the subject of much discission and speculation in late April 2024. If there is an increase (as I suspect), then this will affect the whole property market – at least short term.

EQUITIES

There are cycles at work here too with historical analysis indicating that the Dow Jones Index will close the year at least as high as at its start. Within the year, several buying opportunities should appear – notably at the Full Moon in February and again in August.

Mercury turns direct on January 2^nd, less than 48 hours after Jupiter’s direct station. This should put fuel in the equity tank leading to above average trading levels on Wednesday January 10^th and higher prices.

MONTHLY CLASS AND FINANCIAL COURSE

I am slowly adjusting to my new life. Grief is an unwelcome and unpredictable companion, but astrology helps. The financial course is temporarily on hold, but monthly classes will continue. I am also delighted to have been asked to speak for www.astrologyuniversity in March and am in discussion with various other groups.

Next month's letter will come from Florida where I will be speaking for the SFAA  for the first time in 5 years! I can't wait and am SO, so looking forward to reconnecting with my Florida astro-tribe.
