Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon!
According to calculations made by two
eminent scientists, at approx. 19:56 UT on Tuesday, December 6, about 85.92% of the worlds’ population experienced darkness as night reigned across Asia, Africa and Europe (the three most populous continents). Whilst the astro-charts for the various locations yield different angles (e.g. Ascendants and Midheavens), the distribution of the planets stays the same.
Obviously not everyone would have been asleep at this hour of darkness, but surely a large number were dreaming of better times?
In this chart, the traditional planets, Sun and Moon are contained within a bowl-shape bounded by the Sun and Mars.
Bowl shapes are not uncommon and occurred frequently during the recent pandemic when it seemed that we were each required to ‘live in a bowl’ cut off from the outside world. And yes, it is possible that the inhabitants of these continents may be required to do so again – at least for a few short weeks.
Covid 19 and its variants could yet limit activities.
Yet travel may be restricted for a variety of reasons – including labour dispute and energy crisis. Fact is that Mars (energy) – in Gemini –
is both out of bounds and retrograde. Restrictions should relax in late January when resolution to dispute should be found.
Mars is – tellingly – the lead planet of this bowl. When Mars
stations at 8 Gemini mid-January, it will be on the exact degree of President Xi of China’s Jupiter. It will be interesting to see what decrees and actions he initiates. (I will cover this in depth in a class focused on S.E. Asia forecasts for 2023 - please email if you are interested).
Today’s Full Moon at 16 Gemini also coincides with the Sun’s opposition to Mars and Venus' square to Jupiter in Pisces (the last such aspect for over a decade). Putting these factors together suggests a day of high activity (and decision making) with increased volume of trade on world markets. The degrees involved accent key positions in the charts of many of the major tech companies
indicating fast moves in share price.
BULL MARKET END OF YEAR, 2023 FORECAST AND MONTHLY FINANCIAL CLASSES
Obviously much depends on how you trade – and which markets. Though Mercury turns retrograde on Thursday 29th, that planet will be en route to a conjunction with the Sun in Capricorn on January 7th (the day after the next Full Moon). Research suggests that the January date will mark a market top that is preceded by a strong
upswing in the three weeks beforehand (ie starting at next week's Last Quarter Moon).
ASTRO FINANCE CLASSES
These monthly events have been well received. They are stand-alone (i.e. not part of a course offering certification). Those who have attended tell me that they are learning and applying techniques. You can register for the next class below:
NEXT CLASS: Sunday 18th December at 15.00 GMT
Join us for a
review of correlation between planet cycles and market activity over the last few weeks and forecasts for the first quarter of 2023 with special emphasis on January.
