CHANGING OF THE GUARD
Recent news emphasis has been on the appointment of a new prime minister here in the UK and, across Europe and beyond, concern about rising energy prices and the threat of nuclear disaster. Now, for a very different reason, it seems that the world has truly shifted uncomfortably on its axis.
The Queen's passing marks the end of an era.
Planetary phases - and this Full Moon, which, from the sidereal or tropical perspective suggested loss of a ruler,
indicate radical change. As Mercury turns retrograde on the descendant of the UK's 1801 chart, and until Mercury turns direct on October 2nd, is time for reflection.
The Queen's death is a truly extraordinary loss which will surely be mirrored in other events.
As explained in my last letter, this September Full Moon should mark the start of a global financial
downturn. Major losses are on the way. The NEXT October Full Moon aligns with Chiron, the great corrector and is likely to coincide with financial crisis.
DIGITAL CURRENCIES
In March next year Pluto makes its Aquarius ingress. Pluto spends roughly a couple of decades in each sign. History shows that as it crosses from one zodiac section to another, there are ripples on the global financial stage. Think back to 2007/8 as Pluto crossed into Capricorn and we experienced global monetary crisis. This time will be different
- but no less awesome.
I fully expect that within the space of just a few short years, that digital currencies will be the norm. These are different from cryptos. Digital currencies will be masterminded by governments. I anticipate a digital US dollar before 2025. Please note that China, Russia, France, the UK, Japan, India and various other countries are actively
considering their deployment. In China, the E Yuan is already in use.
As some of you will know, President Biden signed executive order 14067 on March 9 this year. This order has prompted considerable crypto concern. There is always the fear of Bitcoin or other cryptos being confiscated. This was a singularly important
date.
It has not been possible to find the exact time when order 14067 was signed. However, it was possible to access the President’s schedule and eliminate some of the times when it was unlikely to have been signed. Mercury the planet of commerce was, on March 9, in exact quintile to Uranus. The lunar node will come to Uranus’ position in December. Of course, we must wait and see, but the next stage of this probably unstoppable development should
be announced close to the December solstice.

A commonly used chart for oil is for 1859 when the first barrel of oil was drawn from a well in Texas. Of the many interesting features of this chart is that Uranus (surprises and politics) was close to the degree at which Neptune and Pluto would align in the early 1890s when Rudolf Diesel and his business partner were working on what would become the first diesel engine. The intertwining cycles of Uranus-Neptune and Pluto
compare with oil price rhythms. Of course, other planets – and the Moon also have roles to play.
Recent price rises, and the reaction of the OPEC community can be traced back to Uranus’ opposition to Pluto in the 1859 chart and Neptune in the chart for Opec. The present surge may end when the lunar south
node passes these degrees in early 2023. That said, we may yet see more price rises around 30th October when Mars stations on OPEC’s Mars position and opposes the Galactic Centre.
Recessions have a very definite planetary signature: one that won’t be repeated for another few years yet.
What lies ahead is vastly different any of us living on the planet have ever known. It might even have reverberations of biblical times and the
curse of famine caused as much by climate change as it is by war and poor policies.
We know that our Sun is ‘behaving differently’. Its cycles are never exact, and Sunspot Cycle 25 is not what was
expected. In recent days, a solar fire has affected Venus. If a solar flare (over which we have no control) knocks out satellite systems, and disrupts distribution services, I am told that supermarket shelves would be empty within days.
But what happens if it is not a solar flare that
affects these systems but a man-made catastrophe? Clues may lie within the planetary cycles linked to the rhythm of energy (fuel) supply and cost.
There is so much emphasis presently on green energy but, at least for now, it is surely imperative to ensure that present-day systems can continue until their replacements
are in place.
By the November 8th lunar eclipse, this should be obvious - demanding extra funding which might not be immediately available creating yet another crisis.
Loss of share value is probable from Monday 12th with Wednesday 14th Sept also dramatic. The chart
for the Equinox indicates a stressful quarter ahead with next major change of trend on from Monday 3rd - a likely short term burst of positive trading before clouds gather again at the Full Moon on October 9th.

As Mars entered Gemini and opposed my husband's
natal Mercury, once again we had another emergency dash to hospital. There followed a worrying week, discharge followed by yet another emergency this weekend.
However, as I write, Michael is back home and enjoying the company of a new friend. A 3-year-old
rescue cat, now named Zeus, has joined us. Zeus clearly understands his role as therapy cat and is settling in well.
As you can imagine, maintaining my work schedule has been a challenge but all is now running smoothly. I hope to see some of
you at the Astrological Lodge of London event in London on September 19th. Of course there is no such thing as coincidence: my presentation - which I began to prepare some weeks ago - looks at Queen Elizabeth's chart showing how her progressed Midheaven pointed to developments in her life. As you can imagine, it's quite a story.
