Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon and Happy Lunar eclipse – the super-longest lunar eclipse of your lifetime!
(You’d have to be alive in the year 2669 for the next one)
You’d think that all lunar eclipse would be equal. They’re not – and that’s because it depends on the distances between Sun, Moon and Earth. If May’s eclipse was a Super Moon (when the Moon was closest to Earth), then
this eclipse involves a Micro moon – given that the Moon will be furthest away from earth.
I thought that the May Super-Moon would be significant for the markets – and for silver especially. The silver index did indeed turn down (so the Super Moon brought the expected high). Though the price has been
negative in the last few days, I expect it to rise again in the coming weeks and, quite possibly, for November 30th to be of significance.
Does the position of the Moon by distance really make a difference? And why might that affect life on Earth?
Analysis suggests that eclipses are cosmic punctuation marks: for some they are a comma, and for others a colon or semi-colon.
For the better part of 6 hours from 06.02 UT and most exact three hours later at 09.02 UT, the Earth will obscure the light of the Moon. These 6 hours cover stock exchange opening times through much of Europe.
Traditionally the Moon is said to ‘rule the emotions’. With these ‘obscured’, we might reasonably expect stabilisation – which may be necessary following the opposition of Mars and Uranus two days earlier.
Once the Moon ‘reappears’ we may then see volatility return and yes, action that’s to the downside.
As the distinguished financial astrologer Arch Crawford discovered, the Mars-Uranus opposition aspect has coincided with market tops. It last occurred in almost exactly the same degree areas as the present in the 1930s
where, as expected, the Dow Jones index reached a high. (If you would like to see the chart, please email me)
It then fell markedly in the weeks following. (more on this in the next letter and in the 2022 forecast)
This lunar heralds the Lunar Nodes’ move from the Gemini/Sagittarius axis to Taurus/Scorpio. (As an aside, expect people born under the latter axis to experience 18 months of dramatic
activity).
Taurus/Scorpio is a financial axis and with Uranus continuing its travels through Taurus, it seems entirely reasonable to expect a whirlwind of activity in the banking sector and for crypto-currencies to be in the eye
of this storm.
If indices fall, then cryptos will surely move to the downside too. If that happens, I would view this as yet another buying opportunity.
On that note, my promised e-book on cryptos is nearing the launchpad (sabotaged again by another of my husband’s health challenges). The book offers an overview of the Astro-history of these currencies followed by the
horoscopes and notes (with Astro-trading possibilities) for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Ripple, Dogecoin, Solana, and Coinbase. More on this at the next Full Moon.
That Full Moon (December 19th) accents the Galactic Centre and coincides with Venus’ retrograde Capricorn station. Venus last retrograded in Capricorn in 2013. Though the SPX continued an upward trend toward
the end of that year, as 2014 opened, the SPX fell markedly to a low at the direct station in January. As we know, markets are not equal - yet a brief review of the Hang Seng, Nikkei, DJI and FTSE suggests that each turned from a significant low at the DIRECT Venus station. If history repeats, then Monday 31st January is the key date.
THE ASTROLOGY OF CLIMATE CHANGE
I am delighted to have been asked to speak at this on-line event which takes place December 11th and 12th. (details and discount offer in link below). As many of you know, I have a fascination
with solar rhythms and will be talking about these and more in my presentation. These rhythms indicate a build of activity in the last few days of November and first few of December: which might coincide with increased action in the market-place. All forms of life could find this a frenetic or hectic few days!
SEDNA
Another feature of today’s lunar eclipse is the alignment with Sedna. The timing is neat in that this eclipse comes so soon after the conclusion of the COP26 event. I anticipate much talk about ocean clean-ups and for
the high seas and management of sea-trade to be a major feature of 2022. The depth and mysteries of the oceans are also likely to be given prominent attention.
I feel touched by mystery already! Actually, I feel to have been swimming way out of my depth in recent days. I wanted to report that life here was smooth and controlled, but sadly Michael’s health continues to
challenge! He returned home after a 9 day stay in hospital (pseudomonas infection) at the last Full Moon. It would have been good to be relieved of hospital visits for a while. Sadly not. Two TIA attacks meant another short stay. Thankfully he is back home and recovering, but the roller-coaster continues.
Astrology helps – but it’s your seemingly never-ending supply of good wishes that really sustain. Thank you all.
Until next time and hoping to 'see' you at the Climate Change event,
wishing you and yours safe and well
Yours from the stars
