(I am sending this early as tomorrow could be a day of market drama.)
Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon: Monday March 9th at 17.48 UT
In my January mailing, I pinpointed February’s aspect between Pluto and Chiron as
indicative of disease stating that ‘whilst this might manifest as a particularly vicious flu, it's perhaps as likely that a raging virus will have global attention warranting the same kind of reaction that was applied when the Sars virus first surfaced’.
It is unfortunate that study of planet cycles isn’t a field studied by many:
globally we could have been better prepared.
When planning my recent book ‘Navigating the Financial Universe’, I decided to view the coming decade as a journey by ship. I
focused on essential provisions, explored the potential for pestilence and disease, and outlined the likelihood and timing of storms to be negotiated before reaching safe harbor.
In that same book (p 92-94), I wrote of the potential for a pandemic in February 2020 lasting through to 2022. What I termed an
‘as yet un-named’ virus is Covid 19; now spreading across all five continents and wreaking economic damage in its wake. I suggested that it might not be possible to avoid this water and air borne virus (it’s now viewed as a flow virus) and that much would be spent by many to combat its effect.
Other astrologers have noted the alignment of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and the fact that the elderly
(Capricorn) appear to suffer most from Covid 19 infection. We could add to the list of cosmic factors at work and include Neptune’s approaching square to Ceres’ North Node. This aspect is not yet exact indicating that the virus has further to spread. Contagion seems to be the operative word.
All this is likely to accelerate a sea-change in working practices. With so many people quarantined, and those who are not
reluctant or even forbidden to travel, work schedules will have to adapt with many people determining it better to work remotely. This will surely put considerable pressure on communication systems. As factory production slows, anticipate a boom in those companies providing back up communication services – again something that was signaled in my book.
MARKETS and GOLD
In another economic forecast (written in 2018 for Llewellyn’s 2020 Moon sign book) – where I looked at each quarter of 2020,
I suggested that mid February 2020 would see a marked downturn in global markets – with a major low likely to be reached at the April 8th Full Moon.
In talks and writings, I have suggested that it might be wise to have holdings in precious metals and identified the period
February 17th to the March equinox in 2020 as likely to bring gain – especially with regard to gold. So far that forecast has proved correct. My research suggests that physical gold prices should make rapid increase i the coming days ( perhaps moving sharply to around 1970) by end March. I wonder though if if governments will step in as Saturn moves to Aquarius on March 23rd – perhaps bringing a return to the Gold
Standard?
This March Full Moon will surely hit Wall Street hard – yet I doubt that it will be the low of the year. I anticipate another
drop on Friday 13th. The last hour of normal trading on Wall Street on Thursday March 26th could see sharp moves too. Losses might also be expected on April 1st through 3rd .
Even then, there is likely more bad news to come – perhaps especially in the USA with those markets under severe pressure at the
Full Moon on April 8th. The chart for that country shows Pluto stationing opposite natal Mercury in April indicating huge commercial pressure and a probable downturn for the dollar.
SATURN IN AQUARIUS
Before the next Full Moon, Saturn moves into geocentric Aquarius just two days after the Equinox. This offers fresh vibration
requiring us to dance to an altered cosmic rhythm. Yes, this will likely to be testing for the elderly unfamiliar with new technology, whilst younger adults will surely find it hard to cope with restricted movement and yes, at some stage, rationing. Friendship and local networking will surely become increasingly important.
Saturn, aka the cosmic headmaster, demands focus, whilst Aquarius, one of the Air signs, demands that we think futuristically.
There is no turning back. We need to find ways to blend past practices with new responsibilities. We need also to ensure that over-reliance on artificial intelligence doesn’t blind us to basic human need: contact and respect for natural surroundings.
Forced as we may be to work in different ways, and to pool resources, we should view Saturn’s ingress as bringing entrepreneurial
spirit to the surface. Those born under the Fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius may be the ones to watch.
CONSULTATIONS AND TEACHING
Sadly, a few days after the last Full Moon, and following a miraculous recovery bringing with it much excitement about future
prospects, my husband suffered a health setback: a tear to the aorta followed by chest infection. He was in intensive care for nine days, followed by critical care but is now stabilized. We understand that with time he should recover from this setback. He is a Sagittarius with enormous will- power and a very positive outlook.
Emergency treatment and hospital visits have jinxed the planned course offering which I hoped to begin this month. An alternative
plan is emerging and I will write to everyone interested .....................after Mercury turns direct in a few days!!!
For now,
Wishing you all good health and good friendships and thanking the very many of you who sent us good wishes in these last few
challenging weeks.
