Happy last Full Moon of 2019!
How extra-ordinary that the UK should go to the polls and that letters of impeachment are served to POTUS at this juncture in the lunar cycle. Full Moon madness? Perhaps.
Of course we have a Full Moon in Gemini every year. What differentiates one from another is the cosmic background and where the Full Moon fits in. The present ‘back drop’ is, as you’d expect, heavy: since 2016,
Saturn and Pluto – have been in close parallel aspect. They form their longitudinal conjunction in Capricorn mid-January – just two days after the next Full Moon which also happens to be a lunar eclipse.
Jupiter too is now in Capricorn and though true, its arrival in that sign coincided with the decision to file those impeachment papers, it may yet be that this does not mark the end of the Trump Presidency any more
than the election in the UK, brings Brexit resolution.
Mars’ in Scorpio is in near perfect aspect to Neptune Mars’ position in Scorpio - indicative of mud being slung – but not necessarily sticking – at least, yet. Whilst with the accent on Earth signs of the zodiac
suggests a conservative win in the UK, the margin might yet be tight and even, perhaps, unworkable.
A brief look at the positions of the planets at the Full Moon compared to the chart for January 1st 1801 (a regularly used chart for the UK), shows Chiron STATIONED exactly opposite Uranus. This describes
both the present turmoil but also the potential for questions to be asked about the viability of the result.
MARKETS
It is probable that mid January will mark a ‘hit the buffers moment’ and yes, given the heliocentric opposition of Mars to Uranus (the Crawford Crash Cycle), it may be that markets reach a key turning point around the
Saturn-Pluto alignment on January 12th. If we factor Mars’s position into this, it may be that the SPX heads down toward 2450.
GOLD AND PRECIOUS METALS
It’s been many years since I forecast a high in gold prices in the first quarter of 2020. I haven’t moved position on this – though the cosmos has a happy knack of showing me that I still have much to learn! What can
be shown is that Venus’ transit of Pisces is beneficial for gold and silver especially. That suggests upward price movement for these commodities from January 14th.
POLITICS AND WAR
This alignment might also coincide with uncomfortable truths coming into the open (Mars will have moved into Sagittarius by then). There are major new stories every day of course – but what is revealed mid January
could yet take many by surprise.
Research reveals that conflicts in the Middle East and between India and Pakistan are hard to contain when Saturn and Pluto align. We know thee to have been building for some time. Let’s hope then that history does
not repeat.
YOU
But what does all this mean for you? I have spoken to various clients in this last week. Each is contemplating an ending, a conclusion, a winding up and/or awareness that a task or service is past its sell-by-date.
Amongst other things, each of these clients is testing contractual obligations– quite in keeping with this Sagittarius-Gemini Full Moon. Unsurprisingly given that the coming eclipses accent the Cancer-Capricorn axis, the issue of where to live and work is also being addressed. Property issues abound.
Venus’ position is also important. At this Full Moon Venus is exactly placed (sandwiched) between Saturn and Pluto. The Saturn Pluto cycle is all about pruning, austerity, curtailing and generally minimalizing. Venus
has a justified reputation for bringing pleasure so, perhaps many people will be happy to down-size, conclude a chapter or find just enough compromise to keep going until the main event mid January. Endings, of course, can be graceful.
SOLAR ECLIPSE: December 26th
The next New Moon, on Boxing Day is a solar eclipse visible across much of South East Asia. This eclipse conjoins with Jupiter – which would normally be thought of as positive. Yet Jupiter doesn’t work so well in
Capricorn. In the months following – and until the even more important solar eclipse at the June Equinox, it could be that leaders hold on to power – but not by much. It is also possible that within days of this celestial event that the world will be absorbing the death of an international leader or hero.
2020
Pressured as I am to complete various reports and consultations (and maintain my husband’s recovery) I have decided not to do a 2020 webinar. However, I am taking part in an event on December 21st 2020. Colleagues are agreed that 2020 promises to be a most challenging year – not only because of the emphasis on Cancer and Capricorn but incorporating both Venus and Mars moving retrograde in the coming months. I am one of the participants in an OPA LIVE session on 21 December 2019 with Lynn Bell, Roy Gillett and Christos Archos. The event starts at 10am Pacific / 1pm
Eastern / 6pm UK / 8pm Greece - Israel / 8pm Turkey. click here to register
For now,
Wishing you all very happy festivities and hoping that whatever you are bringing to an end can be done with grace!
Yours from the Stars
