JUNE FULL MOON LETTER

June 13th, 2014

Dear Fellow Star Gazers,

Happy Full Moon and Happy Trapezoid!

As the Moon moved to oppose the Sun this morning, it also formed the final corner of a trapezoid involving Venus, Neptune and Mars. This is stylish pattern occurring on a Friday (Venus' day) suggest that style will be the order of the day. This should work well for creators of all kinds - and, hopefully for peace-makers.

Even though the fast-moving Moon will break up this formation within hours, the more slow moving planets will stay in formation for longer. If you're in a position to tune into this theme, then ideas presented over the next couple of days should have particular style and sound engineering or technical thought under-pinning them. A further possibility is that this weekend will see many scientific and medical breakthroughs.

True, this type of formation does not always bring positive development: they have been apparent during significant military battles. We perhaps ought not then to be surprised by the latest news from Iraq and that the situation has flared with this Sagittarius (Fire sign) Full Moon.

As I pointed out over a decade ago, if the peoples of that region responded to the patterns made by the slow moving patterns of 2010 to 2015 as  they have done in the past, then large scale war in the region was probable. Indeed, what is happening now seems almost 'late' given that there was so much tension around the lunar eclipse back in April.

As viewed from Earth the two planets Mars (energy) and Uranus (rebellion) oppose one another again on June 25th just hours ahead of the Moon's arrival at extreme declination. This is an incendiary combination and should battles continue from today's Full Moon, then that last week of June could yet prove catastrophic for the innocents caught up in the theatre of war.

Today the Moon reaches maximum declination just after 13.00 GMT. On Monday, 15th,  it will be at Perigee as Mercury arrives at Aphelion. This combination could bring with it severe weather if not earthquake - devastatingly cruel for those vulnerable and displaced through the insanity of war. Perhaps we could all tune in to the theme of compassion likely to be unleashed today and do what we can to help.

Market-wise, it is the days following the solstice on 21st that provide headaches for some. A temporary down turn from this date is possible - with another bumpy ride ahead next month. There are two significant turning-point for precious metal prices: last week of June and third week of July (though if you are looking for a dramatic turn around that is more likely at the very end of 2014).

As many of you will know, there are charts for countries. True, areas of land have existed for millennia, but, every so often, a bordered region acquires a name. The chart for that identity provides useful study. It comes as no surprise to find that the countries involved in war presently are enduring aspects indicating power struggle.

Away from actual war, as many counties are experiencing political revolution with the rise of parties that did not exist just a few years ago. These political movements are likely to gather momentum after Jupiter changes signs next month and will surely pose huge headaches for those unwilling to accept that certain ideals belong to another time.

The period mid-July 2014 to March 2014 is likely to be a roller coaster for politicians and markets. I will be covering this in the Solstice Webinar at 15.00 GMT on Sunday June 22nd. (The cost is £24 inc VAT and you can register for this by emailing through the contact form on www.financialuniverse.co.uk).

I know that many of you are interested in currency movements and some will know that I anticipate a shake-up in forex generally in the latter days of June. In many pairings (especially those involving the Euro), I anticipate a change of trend at the end of June though I do not think this will stabilise until early August. Trading between now and then is probably not for those without technical analysis training.

As I write, Mercury is retrograde. As with others I have spoken to, the chaos that might be expected of Mercury moving through its own sign of Gemini was felt ahead of the actual retrograde station. May 23rd through June 7th was particularly stressful. The direct station on July 1st should mark the start of the 'mopping up' exercise. For those born under Gemini and awaiting the green light for particular projects, it might be as well to anticipate July 1st to the Full Moon on 12th as being very busy indeed.

That's likely to be the case here as I prepare for workshops in Dublin over the weekend of July 19th and 20th with my colleague Margaret Gray. Details on the notice board at the venue, Oscailt and through www.financialuniverse.co.uk. Please use the contact form on the website to register interest.

The second astro-finance course concluded last weekend and proved as enjoyable and stimulating as the first. I have speaking commitments in Phoenix (ISAR), the UK, for NCGR and the IAA and in Toronto between September and December which render it impossible to find a series of 6 Sundays to run another course. However, with so many people interested I am floating the idea of running the course on alternate weekends. If you are interested, then please do email me.

For now, hoping that you are able to tune in and enjoy a surge of creative and compassionate energy provided by today's planetary trapezium and that the peace-makers of the world aren't drowned out by those determined to make war.

With all good wishes

Yours from the stars

Christeen
