Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon!
A month ago I was putting the finishing touches to a 6000 word forecast for 2015. By the latter half of that year the right-angle between Uranus and Pluto will be separating and
we should all be enjoying an altogether quieter period.
It came as something of a shock to bring my mind back to the present and to 2014 - which promises yet another roller-coaster ride.
Others more eloquent than I have written extensively of the impact of the Uranus-Pluto cycle on social, economic and financial trends. Suffice it
to say that revolution is in the air - and it's not over yet. Governments across the world should be aware of the potential for challenge. They should also be aware that attempts to suppress unpalatable news and information are unlikely to work.
Nowhere is this more likely to be felt than in the financial sector. It is true that equities have soared through 2013 with some suggestion that at least here in the UK,
we are coming through the financial woods. Really? That's not my reading of the planetary formation.
Yes, I can see which planets might be contributing to the financial fog: but that gives rise to a little panic as to what happens when the fog lifts. Pluto is still in Capricorn and there is still a weight of sovereign debt as yet unaddressed. How and when is this to be repaid? The US city of Detroit went
bankrupt. Cyprus too has experienced tight financial controls. What happens when more US cities - or even whole states and countries have to face brutal truths?
I remain convinced that the Euro crisis is anything but over and anticipate that it won't be long before commentators are speculating as to which of the Eurozone countries will be forced to suffer Cyprus' fate or exit the Euro altogether
Do I feel the banking system is yet safe? No. It may be experiencing temporary reprieve, but once Saturn moves out of Scorpio at the end of 2014, weakness will surely show.
It's interesting that since Saturn moved into that sign on October 5th 2012, the price of gold has fallen. Neither has silver enjoyed much success. This defies logic. Both should be
doing better and surely will as soon as Saturn leaves Scorpio and its mutual reception with Pluto. Of course there's far more to it than that, but, for me, both are at bargain prices considering how far they'll surely go when bitter financial reality is faced.
In 2014, Uranus returns - for the first time - to the position it held in 1929. It wouldn't be at all surprising if we heard echoes of that time again. Yes,
it is true that the nodal cycle is in an 'up' position. However, for businesses to grow, they require funding and capital. Do governments, banks, and, specifically, the banks of nations, really have this at their disposal? Planet-wise I am not so sure.
Next weekend - and coinciding with the December solstice, Venus arrives at a station. That planet is retrograde until the last day of January when, coincidentally,
Jupiter and Pluto are at exact opposition. This suggests to me that many countries will be walking the financial gang-plank in January: perhaps starting with the US where the impact of Obamacare will surely be considerable. For other countries, the UK included, the issue will surely be about collection of tax revenue.
Agreed, it is hard to tune into this gloom when indices keep rising. If history repeats, then
this upward trend should continue through the last days of 2013: analysis shows that the Sun's alignment with Mercury in Capricorn is experienced by the US markets especially as positive.
Using the fabulous Market Analyst software, I have been playing with planetary lines. If, for example, the Dow moves through 16300, then it could go on to 17100. When, and if, a fall comes though (and March-April 2014 doesn't
look good), then it could fall to half that figure.
Just two weeks ago Mars entered my sign, Libra, for an extended stay. I can't say that I didn't see this coming but even I am surprised and just how 'action-packed' days have become. Thankfully I am also feeling an increase in energy levels which means that as yet, I haven't fallen too far behind - though clients demanding particular research are still
waiting for that work to be completed.
A concept that has my full attention is the idea of time as a spiral and the echoes that reverberate as the spiral turns back on itself. I will present this idea in Florida in March and at other events in 2014. I feel to be on to something though the cosmos is so very, very good at throwing custard pies in my direction whenever I think I've cracked one of its
codes!
That said, I do feel I have something to offer those attending next weekend's webinar. There are five spaces left. It's a 75 minute event from 15.00 GMT on Sunday December 22nd when I will be looking closely at the three months through to the March Equinox. With attendees numbering more than last time, I can offer this at £18. To register, simply email me and I'll send you a PayPal invoice with instructions
as to how to log in.
I am also all set to go with an astro-finance course in January. Having spoken to (almost) everyone who expressed interest, it became apparent that I must either offer two very different courses or revise the structure. In the end I've gone for the latter option. You can find revised details on the website www.financialuniverse.co.uk/astro-finance
All it remains for me to say in this last letter of the year is to thank you for your continued interest and wish you well for the holiday season. Little did I realise when I began these letters (2010!!) just how much they would come to mean to me. It's been
wonderful to make yet more friends in 2013.
Do please keep in touch,
As always,
Yours from the stars
Christeen
