Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Happy Full Moon: the first of
its kind since 1936!
Two years ago I was writing the economic chapter for Llewellyn’s 2018 Moon book. I wrote that I thought that the last week of October – especially around today’s Full Moon, that there would be market drama and loss. Stocks in Asia are said to be on the cusp of a bear
market and my forecast for a difficult last week of October looks as though it was on target.
It’s not simply that this Full Moon aligns with Uranus – but that the planetary picture around this event suggests a period of high drama: the Sun, Moon and Uranus are at right angles to the lunar
node axis, creating an apparent box formation in the sky. This suggests intransigence and war-like threats. The astro-carto-graphy for the event draws attention to both Washington and to South East Asia. Either could be in the grip of discussion about trade wars and indices from these regions especially losing value.
The last Full Moon that was conjunct Uranus coincided with the collapse of Lehman brothers. It might not be a bank that collapses but a government or authority. We should not rule out the possibility of shock developments in the Middle East.
Most important though is that from the heliocentric (sun-centred) view, Mars is exactly conjunct Chiron at 0 Aries. Cosmic attention to the world axis has, in the past, coincided with major developments (economic, social and political) here on Earth. This is worrying from the health of the world perspective. It is to be hoped that this conjunction doesn’t mark the arrival of some awful virus – though I think it more likely that this events will coincide
with a military attack that is roundly condemned as a war crime - though true, this could be connected to the murdered journalist and the world-wide condemnation of this act.
If you’ve been reading these letters for some time, then you will know that I am of the opinion that bubbles
have yet to burst in the markets. The global financial crisis that began as Pluto entered Capricorn cannot be said to be over until Pluto leaves that sign in 2023.
Corrections will come with several dates standing out between now and the end of 2023. For now, and focusing purely on this
next month, aside from strong movements this week, Jupiter’s geocentric Sagittarius ingress on November 8th – just a day after the Scorpio New Moon suggests a market mood-change that accelerates a week later but is arrested over the weekend of November 16th.
Mercury
turns retrograde, Venus stations direct and Mars moves into geocentric Pisces within hours of the First Quarter Moon that links back to the eclipses of earlier this year when indices fell sharply. Market reactions are again likely to be strong and probably negative in the week before the next Full Moon on November 23rd. By then the lunar node will have moved from Leo to Cancer.
This too – especially in the USA, suggests a move to the downside. Clearly much of this will be related to the results of the mid-terms. That these coincide with Uranus’ geocentric return to Aries as Jupiter moves into Sagittarius is most interesting. President Trump may well receive a thumbs-up on his stewardship prompting a rise in the markets at November 8th. If
there is a rally, I do not expect this to last. There are bumpy roads ahead.
You may remember that to the very day when Jupiter last changed sign (its Scorpio ingress) that the Harvey Weinstein news story broke. Jupiter’s move into Sagittarius will doubtless bring legal matters – seeking
the truth – stories to the fore. We might reasonably expect a humdinger of a legal action to hit the headlines in the last days of November. Incidentally, if you were born with the Sun in Sagittarius, you may read elsewhere that this is the start of your ‘lucky’ year. It could as easily be that this proves to be a year of high drama where your natural optimism and resilience is put to the test.
Last month I wrote “I can’t conclude this piece without making reference to the Brexit negotiations and Prime Minister May’s chart. With a Uranus (shock) aspect working in her chart at the same time as that planet is so prominent in both the Equinox chart (set for London) and in the next Full Moon chart (October
24th), suggests she could be knocked for six this autumn.” Interesting that she is apparently facing a back-bench revolt and choosing to appear before the 1922 committee this evening – within hours of the Full Moon.
I also said that I hoped to have some Youtube videos online by this letter. I was too optimistic! Full focus has been given to client work and concluding the first draft of my next book. I am on target to have this completed by end of October.
In response to the many requests for a financial course, I am pleased to say that the accompanying ebook is well underway. If all goes to plan (but please bear in mind that my ruling planet is still retrograde!), we should be in a position to announce this with the next Full Moon letter.
REQUEST: Do any of you have data I could use (no names) for another work on moving house? I am looking for birth date (date, time and place) and the actual date when you took possession of a new home. You do not need to have moved in. I am looking for the date when you would be considered the legal owner. I don’t need the time, but I do need the exact date please.
Thank you in advance if you can help.
For now,
Yours from the stars
Christeen
