Dear Fellow Star Gazers,
Happy Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse!
My last letter was sent a week ahead of the US election. As I anticipated President Obama was re-elected. You may also remember I thought there might be legal repercussions about voting arrangements. The reverberations between eclipse periods were not quite what I was looking for ( the resignation of General Petraeus and the various scandals that have been headline news). It's interesting that so many 'sex' scandals should have come to the fore close to the recent Scorpio eclipse.
For the last three weeks I have been focused on forecasts for 2014. The more I look, the more concerned I am about sovereign debt and the potential for the bond bubble bursting. Of course, there isn't just one bond bubble. The probability is that we shall see various 'bursts' between March 2013 and 2015. The cellular memory of many nations includes periods of bankruptcy. Study suggests that when this is the case, then history has a greater chance of repeating itself. For the time being then I continue to have concerns about the Banks of many Nations and, in particular, the UK economy in 2013 and the US in 2014.
Speaking of which:
The Canadian, Mark Carney has been appointed as next governor of the Bank of England. He was born under the sign of Pisces (yes, like Alan Greenspan and our ex-Prime Minister, Gordon Brown and yes, Ben Bernanke has his Moon in this sign). Pisces people generally do get the 'big picture', I'm just not so sure about leaving them in charge of day to day running! In Mr Carney's case, his chart is balanced by a stellium of planets in practical Earth signs. He also comes from that special group of people born in the mid 60s who I have always felt would be best placed to lead us through present-day planetary configurations.
Like Alan Greenspan, Mark Carney was born with Jupiter and Neptune in opposing signs - actually at right angles to Greenspan's. Amongst other things, the latter's appears to have manifested in a love of jazz and willingness to allow others their creativity (but not always in a good way as we now know). It will be interesting to see how this plays for Mr Carney and the constraints he applies whilst also leaving room for alternative ways of doing things.
Though it appears Mr Carney will be faced with a hard dose of reality in late 2013 and through 2014 - coinciding with difficulties likely to be faced in both the US and UK - there are contra indicators suggesting he will find his way through these and, perhaps, guide the banking ships away from the rocks. Certainly it seems more likely than not that he will grow in stature through this appointment.
Today's other big news here in the UK - concerns the publishing of the Levenson report which will surely have great effect on publishing generally. How amazing that it should be presented on this Gemini (newspapers) lunar eclipse.
You may remember that I pointed out last time that Jupiter is now very close to Earth - and is also in Gemini. I think it fair to say that this publication will create tremendous uproar that lasts way until December and beyond. Indeed, the furore might not die down until the last of the present series of Jupiter occultations concludes early in 2013.................which takes us back to finance and the 'Fiscal Cliff'.........
On virtually the last day of 2012 and so, so 'eleventh hour', the Sun, Saturn and Pluto are involved in a tight configuration with the two planets each in the other planets' 'favourite' sign. This suggests a cosmic punctuation mark or major chord. It seems likely that a deal will be struck though I'm not sure that this will enough to stop or reduce market shocks in 2013.
I can't in this letter ignore the extraordinary planetary alignment that coincides with the solstice on December 21st. It is as though an arrow forms in the sky directing us all to look up and beyond. For some it could feel as though they're attuned to fresh frequencies. The art for all of us is perhaps to be open-minded and to realise the potential for breaking habits. It will be interesting to see how those whose birthdays fall on December 21st, October 31st , May 29th and December 29th attune to this frequency.
Our family seems to have reacted to this early. I am delighted to report that my godson (who was desperately ill with leukaemia some years ago) and whose birthday is May 29th, is already 'going places' having secured a computer programing position at Heathrow (and yes, I am the proudest god-mother in town). December 21st is also a key family anniversary and events related to this have unexpectedly brought delight and exciting potential for 2013.
My own health situation isn't 100% resolved - though the planets are moving on and I'm hopeful of greeting 2013 healthily. There is, of course, my January Florida trip to look forward to. The lecture notes are begun and it's enjoyable putting it all together and including research accomplished during this period of enforced rest. I will be speaking in St Petersburg on Thursday Friday 3rd and then Ft Lauderdale on 4th and 5th January. There will be a separate mailing for the Ft Lauderdale event to include all details.
But first there is this Saturday's Harmonics lecture for the Breaking Down the Borders web-conference. I was asked to change time for this and so will be delivering my piece at 20.00GMT on December 1st.
If you have a basic level of astrology, I hope you'll enjoy this. You can find details at: http://www.astrologyconference.org/
To remind you: during the ISAR web conference in January, I will be covering financial trends in 2013. You can find details for this at: http://www.isarastrology.com/
For now, wishing you a healthy month ahead and hoping that wherever the cosmic catapult sends you, you have a wonderful time!
All good wishes
Christeen
