Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,
Am writing this high above the Atlantic en route to a music
convention in
Indianapolis followed by a
workshop in
Toronto
where I will present thoughts on trading in 2012 - particularly as they relate
to Canadian markets.
As we know the last few weeks have seen so many headlines re
Greece and
Italy- and
potential sovereign defaults: not to mention the prospect of the double-dip
recession that was so clearly indicated by planetary positions - assuming
humans reacted to certain cycles as they have done in the past.
This Full Moon (10th)
so soon followed by Mars' Virgo ingress and the very special aspect between
Saturn and Pluto which forms this weekend always did seem an astrologically-important
period. Expect to see exaggerated market moves over the next couple of days.
You could think of the Saturn/Pluto aspect as one of a
series of three punctuation marks concluding in the summer 2012: each
indicating the end of a financial era.
As explained so many times before, were the chart of the
Euro that of a person, one would be looking for a domestic move and the
plundering of assets alongside a tax investigation: more or less what's likely
to happen in the Eurozone.
Sterling
though is the currency to watch now. As Mars moves through the early degrees of
Virgo (and before the next New Moon) anticipate significant fluctuation in its
price relative to both the US dollar and the Euro. We should also expect a rise
in the value of gold (no surprise there really) - and for the price to rise through
to the New Moon - which is also a solar eclipse on 25th.
You may remember that Jupiter is moving through Taurus (sign
of the bull). At this stage in the business cycle there is resistance to bear
movement. True, there are some 'bad' days but these are balanced by days of recovery.
Whilst it is probable that there will be an end of year rally, and even
possibly into the beginning of 2012, should old patterns repeat, the general
trend will be negative - especially from mid February.
Indeed, using one particular astrological system, the
keyword 'poverty' would appear on successive trading days late that month.
Using the standard Jupiter-Saturn business cycle, a low should be reached in
the summer of 2012.
As we know, eyes are now turned to the East with the
suggestion that
China
might use some of her massive reserves to assist the West. The long five
hundred year cycle of one hemisphere's domination over the other has seen this
process accelerate in recent years. Yet
China too will surely be affected
both by slow growth globally and, worryingly, by an increasing number of
natural disasters requiring immediate attention.
As explained, we are travelling via
Toronto and can well remember a similar trip
when the SARS infection was limiting travel through the city. For as much as we
are all infected by present-day global financial woes, we ought to give some
thought to the prevention of vial epidemic which would surely also have radical
and negative effect in the market-place. (I will be developing this theme in
the subscription letter to be sent at the end of the month).
The Sun moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius on November 22nd
just ahead of the solar eclipse on 25th. The chart for the exact
moment is interesting and would seem to infer more large-scale market moves that
may be brought to a halt as Mercury reaches its station on Thursday 24th.
Certainly 22nd - 25th should see large swings - wholly in keeping
with the nature of a solar eclipse where the Moon (emotions) obscures the Sun.
We have now landed - to see on the newsreels that Mr
Berlusconi is to resign. He is born under the sign of Libra (like Mr Cameron)
but unlike Cameron is presently affected by a strong Pluto transit: his crown
is surely toppled. And yet: Berlusconi's Mars is in early Virgo and he has a
Pisces Moon - a slippery fish indeed. Look for the fish to develop piranha-style
teeth and to use them before he leaves office.
I fear jet-lag is having some effect so will draw this
missive to a close promising a longer note next month.
What I will tell you before I close is that the recent trip
to
Dublin was
hugely successful - so much so that there will be a weekend event there next
February 17th-19th.
I am also delighted to announce another weekend event in
Vermont next August -
please visit the website events page for full details of programme and costs.
I've seen pictures of
Grafton,
Vermont and it looks wonderful.
For now,
Yours from the stars
Christeen
