Dear Fellow Star-Gazers,

A very happy New Year and a warm welcome to the first Full Moon letter of 2011. We have over 30 new readers since the last letter went out: quite amazing!  I haven't yet made contact with everyone but hope to do so in the coming weeks.

There are several key astro dates to mark in your diary in the next four weeks.

Taken in sequence the first of these is Jupiter's entry into Aries on the 22nd.

Though it takes Jupiter approximately 12 years to work its way through all the signs of the zodiac, it doesn't spend a year in each sign. Its passage through Aries is short. It will enter on 22 January and leave in early June. This marks a significant change of pace market wise. We should anticipate increased volatility ( as if there weren't enough already).

Five days later, on January 27, Jupiter will be at right angles to the mean lunar node. This coincides with Venus passage over the position of the planet Mercury in the recent solar eclipse and is also close to Saturn's station. All this suggests a significant turning point affecting the S&P and NASDAQ indices especially.

It is also possible that we will hear more about another 'tallest building' : see this as being a clue to potential property collapse in whatever area of the world that news comes from.

The next day to mark is February 4th. This is just after the new Moon (3rd) which marks the start of the Chinese New Year. Forex traders would be wise not to overdo the celebrations!  as Friday 4th may be a date of some significance.  The January Euro-index forecast  was correct and I anticipate that February 4th will mark another significant trading day.

Chiron enters Pisces on Tuesday February 8th. This planetoid is often present in the charts of global audit scandals. The sign of Pisces has been highlighted in the charts of those operating creative accountancy - often masked as global vision. Chiron's entry into this sign could bring news of financial scandal - and yes, commodities such as oil may be a feature. It is possible that this will be swept under the carpet and not fully exposed until early April. Those diligent in their reading of the financial papers may be able to spot this financial-tsunami coming.

The lunar node changes sign in February too -moving from Capricorn into Sagittarius. I anticipate that volume of trade will increase from Monday Feb 14. With Venus passing the recent solar eclipse point on February 16, and picking up a dot-com theme, the S&P and NASDAQ indices could be most affected. Slightly ahead of the next Full Moon on February 19, Jupiter reaches contra--parallel with Uranus. The proximity to the former suggests hiatus in the high-tech industries (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Intel, etc could each experience volatility.)

You may remember from an earlier letter that I thought the first solar eclipse of 2011 would herald significant activity in the currency markets and thereafter with management of sovereign debt. I anticipate that the latter half of February will provide some currency dramas. There will be more of this in the subscription newsletter which will be with you in the first couple of days of February.

WEB-SEMINARS AND TEACHING It was unfortunate that an Internet session had to be cancelled at the end of December. Rest assured that this is still on my radar. I am deeply committed to finishing a book and have decided to focus all energy on that for the moment. I should be completed before the February New Moon and then in a position to give training dates later that month.

For now wishing you all happy trading and the best of health in 2011,

Yours from the stars

Christeen
