Finacial Universe: Full Moon letter
Published: Fri, 10/22/10
Dear Fellow Stargazer, Final touches (and proper launch) of the new www.financialuniverse.co.uk website will take place on November 21st . You can already go to the site and register for the subscription service. This service offers a monthly document and access to the astro-blog. By November 21st I hope to augment the free material with extra articles for everyone. Before then there is much to do: a trip to Canada includes an event for the astrologers in Toronto and then, on Sunday 20th, I will take part in the global conference offered by the International Academy of Astrology. I'll be speaking at 16.30 GMT on Neptune: bringer of Wealth and Prosperity. You can find more details through www.astrologyconference.org The last two weeks have also been spent working on an article for the NCGR journal. This one is all about solar activity and finance. It's been interesting catching up with advances in helioseisomology (sun-science!) and learning more about the sun's 160 minute pulse. Now all I need to do is discover when the next beat is due! I can't not mention our other BIG and happy news : the safe arrival of Ira Francis Michael (who actually arrived on George Gershwin's birthday!). After a summer of deaths, Ira's arrival has brought us all joy. Gently we are moving forward. On the global financial front it's certainly been an action-packed month. I'm delighted that the forecast summer outbreak of war hasn't taken place in the Middle East - though won't feel we're off the hook with this for some weeks yet. Much credit must go to surely over-worked peace-makers though news in the last twenty-four hours is worrying. The cosmic signature that was so worrying in early August echoes again at the start of December. Meanwhile, although they have yet to reach pre dot-com bubble levels, the markets have risen: this despite Venus and Mars in Scorpio and Venus retrograde. It will be fascinating to see what happens after this Full Moon. I am not optimistic about the early part of next week. That said, the really big falls which might have coincided with the August planetary alignment haven't materialised - though I still believe they will. It may be that these can't occur until after the next Jupiter-Saturn alignment. There are two such alignments to consider: the helio in early December and the geo in 2011. Traditionally the UK market tends to rise during December - so perhaps we will have to wait for February 2011 before we see major falls. It seems inconceivable that against the various planetary and solar cycles, markets will continue to rise. A reckoning must surely come - perhaps driven by currency wars which now appear certain. This again takes us back to precious metals and to the gold price which I still feel has some way to go. Similarly silver and platinum could enjoy growth in the coming weeks. (As an aside, isn't it incredible that the astrologically the Moon has always been linked with silver and that it has now been found on the Moon!) The commodity with the greatest future though must be Water. The more I read about water the more I realise just how precious it is. Surely any companies working on water purification and security will enjoy growth in the coming years. This may yet prove an excellent area for investment. This weekend, and soon after the Full Moon, the Sun makes its Scorpio ingress, joining Mercury, Venus and Mars. At the very least I anticipate volume of stock exchange trade to be up on Monday 25th. Friday 29th could prove a key date for the banking community (again!) - and yes, perhaps hints of those currency wars. The next date red-letter date may be Friday November 5th - we might then see the collapse of a merger affecting share prices. Two weeks later, on Friday 19th, both Venus and Jupiter arrive at stations - possibly marking a clear turning point. More detailed information will be in the subscription newsletter. For those of you who like to plan ahead: Mercury begins its next retrograde period on Friday 10th December. I've brought forward the solstice seminar to this date. The theme will be the markets in 2011 and bookings can be made through the site www.financialuniverse.co.uk For now, as always Yours from the stars Christeen |
